I feel the same about BMWs chassis codes. They were all incremental but now suddenly each new model is moving an entire letter down the alphabet. The 5- series goe s E 12, E28, E34, E39, E60, F10, G30

Hell if I know. I’m just hoping for a bunch of retailers to start dumping their cards. I was almost thinking of getting a 2060 super. I think they may have a problem trying to sell for 399 when the card with twice the performance is going for 499

I was con templating a new video card over the weekend, but hadn’t looked in a while and decided I had a lot of research to do.  G lad I didn’t pull the trigger on something I would have regretted.

Totally got hooked on FS2020 in the last three days, but will make do with my 1060 3GB card until things shake out. Its not as bad as I thought it would be in 3440x1440/medium FS settings. I had upgraded to 32GB of memory.

Amazon Prime Day deals on graphic cards should be interesting this year.

I’m waiting on a RX 580 I ordered last week. I think it’s more or less comparable with your 1060. After a rebate Amazon was offering I got it for $130

Wow, when I bought my VR tower they came out with a new one a month later, I was not impressed. But VR gave me headaches so I haven’t used it. I have decided to switch to that beast instead of a new laptop at some point since it’s got serious hardware and more than I need anyway.

That’s a pretty good deal.  Most of those have 8GB(?) so you should be in good shape for a while.
