Work got dumb just as Oppo Hunt ended, and as a result I still have about 20 profiles to go through before I can announce final scores. In the mean time, here is a map. At the end of the event I asked everyone to submit at least one place they discovered during the Hunt that they intend to return to and at least one place they recommend people coming to the area make sure to visit. I’ve been compiling the answers in Google maps. Like scoring it isn’t finished yet, but there’s enough for a virtual mosey. When I get home tonight I’ll be changing the base from map to satellite so you can actually see the places themselves.

Well at least I know I’m not the only useless Minnesotan on Oppo!

Delete this, you are giving away the inevitable Oppo global domination. How will we ever mandate brown manual diesel wagons for everyone if you show the full reach of our shadowy hand?
Our secret recruitment program Oppo Hunt was a smashing success!
EDIT: Also, not filed to Oppo Rally so may want to fix that

I was remiss in responding! We will be going back to the Jackson Square area in New Orleans so we can visit the plethora of strange sights and interesting museums when they are all open for business again.

Well shoot. I must’ve missed this item. I’ll just say here that I didn’t get the chance to visit anywhere new, but I did research a few places I plan to check out once they reopen.
As far as where other should visit I’ll state the obvious then add in a few side stops. If you’re in Dayton, Ohio I’m sure everyone here knows the AF Museum, but there’s a Wright Brother’s memorial about 2 miles away that sits on top of a cliff where they tested gliders and you can see the active runway for WPAFB. You’re just a few more miles from Huffman field which was the world’s first airport. Then head towards Dayton to visit the Wright Brother’s restored bike shop, and swing by the Packard museum.

What I’m really seeing is that Arkansas and Mississippi offer little to oppo when everywhere around those states does.
This is a great map!
