Hey! That is statistically THE SAFEST CAR BUILT IN THE LAST 25 YEARS.
It’s weird how infrequently people die in RX series... Whenever I hear some Tesla claim of “world’s safest car” I always giggle. The IIHS data is the final say in the matter-- people don’t die in RXs for some reason.

My girl caught in flight. RIP, Charlie.
She loved the Jeep almost as much as I do .

Well, they're driven by people who prioritize risk avoidance, for one thing.

Oh, maybe, but there are years where they’ve had 25X more RX on the road, driving 20X more miles, and had zero fatalities even as a relative handful of S3X cars on the road had a dozen dead occupants.
The IIHS reports do make fascinating reading... some of those FCA cars and Jeeps are just complete deathtraps by comparison.

Given that we bought a van to give the dogs more room we could use that plate.

How about dogs in cars?

Probably hard to get killed when you cruise along at 10 under and are terrified of driving on a road with a limit over 45.

They’re constantly driven at 5 under the speed limit.

Exactly. There’s only 1 RX I’ve ever seen speeding.
The one my wife drives haha

I remember 20 years ago a local comedy show had a joke about a “Lexus minivan” merging onto I5 at 40. It’s a real thing here anyway. They don’t drive as carelessly as many other cars, but they don’t get moving, either. I see those things as kind of a designer handbag (or satchel, depending on the buyer) on wheels.
I also see them a lot more in town then on the open road.

Oh, there’s some of that... but if you dig through the archives— it’s “Wow!” time.
There’s a reported high-speed RX350 rollover crash in there. Four teenagers— roof is absolutely pummeled. Yet the doors opened, no fire, they all walked away with scratches...
I’ve always like AUDIs for the kids (and those are in the top tier ‘safest’ in the IIHS data) but the RX is in another class entirely. Active and passive safety features really work.

Kobe’s time came. He gave us many years of loyal companionship, but all good things must come to an end. It just helps us appreciate our time with our furry friends all the more.

Willy and I went just about everywhere together. He was a big ham and wanted everyone to be his friend, which in turn introduced me to many great people I became friends with . He took me for my daily walks, wh ether I wanted to go or not, and supervised me during all my projects and chores. I miss him dearly, he was a great friend.
