A bird in hand... These things always pop up just after I commit to a purchase or expenditure. Without fail.

At least with your current build, you will know exactly what you are dealing with, and will be making the rally van much more enjoyable.

Although for only $1500, you can’t lose.

I was about to say that you find amazingly rust free Wisconsin cars. Then I saw the early rust left dogleg. Indicating probably more rust elsewhere. Worrisome for only a 10 yr old car.  But still, for $1500...

Honestly from the look of the pic, it looks like a small spot from the paint getting shipped from stones, it doesn’t look like the usual inside-out bubbling.

Even if it is a small bubble, it’s still very well cared for a 10yo/200k mile WI vehicle. I’ve seen 2 yo vehicles in worse shape.

I had ticking on my van, ended up being a lifter roller collapsed.

Of course now I got the 0420 code every now and then.

Always something.
