Sounded great. Very much driver quality - dents and scratches abound.

Wow I like seeing the vintage iron on rally wheels and not torque thrusts.

Yes, these would be OEM for this car. They look badass, no reason to change them.

Me too.  Sounded as good as it looks, and not so perfect that you can’t drive it to the pharmacy like this guy did.

Just to m ake it c lear it is not an actual Boss, it is a clone. The hood scoop and C pillar emblems are for a Mach 1, and the hoods were mostly matte black. There were only 4 paint colors for the Boss 302, and this not one of them

‘Tis a worthy specimen, indeed.

How are the masks holding up?

I generally assume anything that collectible is a clone unless proven otherwise, so I'm not surprised.  I still like it though!

You could both be incorrect about that, but you wouldn’t be off by much.

IMO , really, nothing says badass more or better than this image:

A clone, but cool regardless.

Masks?  I'm tired of wearing a mask at the office, but I've got it easy there really.

Yes, but that is more about Steve McQueen than the car.  If he was in a 69-70 Boss, it would be even more badass.

Oh yes, don’t get me wrong. It is a cool car, being a fastback Mustang makes it extr a cool. I wonder why they didn’t stick with the Mach 1 graphics, current or previous owner.

Hard to say - the car is 51 years old, so it could have been born a 6 cylinder base fastback, or it’s a Boss 302 that has had some personal touches added. Most likely it’s a Mach 1, maybe with a Boss 302 engine, I’d guess, or most any Ford V8 .

I love the color combo on this car, too.

You know, I never have figured out what that movie is about besides a car chase. There’s a murder and a primitive fax machine and that’s all I remember. Is that the movie that ends with a guy getting the chop by an aeroplane propeller?

When I was in high school, I knew a guy who had a mustang of the era that you're talking about. I want to say his was a 70. It was orange and had a 302 but he never drove it very fast because it never had more than $2 worth of gasoline in it.

Oppo confession time: I’ve...

never seen Bullitt. I need to fix that.

Funny those cars were fairly common back then. Even mid-60s cars weren’t that unusual for high school students (hell I owned 2 of them).

Well, you've missed a helluva car chase but perhaps not much of a movie.
