When going to sell my 2002 Lexus IS300 Sportcross I was faced with a lack of cool. Not the car itself, but the AC. Fortunately I taught myself how to diagnose it and got it fixed at a local shop for $60 once I knew what the issue was, adding $1000 or more to the value of my car!

Wash it and get another $500!
Kidding aside, good video, yeah, the location of the low pressure port sucks. Got refrigerant dye all over myself once trying to cross Iowa a couple years ago with a slow leak and a 2x Walmart price truck stop bottle of R134a.

The pictures towards the end of the video show it post-wash, actually!

After 7 years I had to charge my car, and it worked all summer.
next year try AC and nothing happened. thought “ thats odd” . So I get the leak stuff, run it, no dye anywhere. Thought “ thats even weirder”. So I charge again. and then go take another look. It looked like a scene from CSI.
