It’s funny how “clean” and “unadorned” those cars still look...

Olds built a million a year of this platform.. and did it for years in the 1970s.

Today?  It’s much easier to find a “first year” authentic Z28 than it is to find a good condition A-Body.  They were considered disposable-- and dispose of them we all did.  I’d give a lot of money to get mine back.  But I think it got made into refrigerator parts 20 years ago.

Back when I was an elementary school kid in the early 90's my dad had a 74 Grand Am coupe in metallic brown.  The was 400 4-speed auto car, that today would get its door blown off by every minivan on the market, but it made nice sounds.  It was all the 70's you could ever want.

You can put the noses and doors of all those cars on an El Camino body... A ‘73 Hurst Olds ute would be very nice IMO.

I’ve gone down the GMC Motor Home rabbit hole from that era... it’s weird how many of those are still on the road.  Really freaky in fact.
