The R4 at the back looks distinctly non/stock. Lowered and with 5 Gordini wheels. Wonder what else they’ve done - a 5 Gordini Turbo engine fits....

The R4 has Dutch plates. I found a higher res picture of this picture on flickr, so I could actually read the plate.
I ran the plate. Renault 4 GTL, 1986 (so a very late one), with a va lid inspection. Anyway, it does not note anything about the engine. This means that it’s either stock and lacks data because of its vintage , or the changes have not been registered. If an engine swap is significant it’s unlikely it would pass normal inspection without having the swap registered officially.
I have engine swapped my 1987 Peugeot. If I ru n the plates of my car I get displacement and kW (hp) of the new engine.
