Different vibe today. No US drivers, which we usually have a ton of as we are in the PNW Formula series and only 20km from the border. Everyone wore masks (or you get kicked out) and social distanced.

No spectators, crews limited to one person and no food for us workers (but we did get $50 in gift cars). Our pace cars this year didn’t even get proper livery. Mazda usually provides 1 pace & 1 medical car all nicely marked up for us.

Long day, 7am to 4:00pm.

stupid question, but are many people getting caught trying to get into Canada illegally now?

are all border crossings manned?

I mean, all are manned but a lot of it is unprotected. You can just sail or fly in. We're huge

I feel you about the border restrictions. Being in Buffalo (hell I can see Canada from my roof) I’m used to Ontario being just part of the neighborhood. It’s been really strange with the border closed to all but “essential” travel.

Better be open next summer so I can go to Mos port.

What really strikes me about the group of cars you photographed are the fantastic liveries. Very colorful and we ll executed.

I’m pretty bummed about the border closer. We usually head up north in late August for a 2 week fishing trip. Ain’t happening this year.
