Hola! Question for the PC folks. I changed jobs back in May and went from a Mac to a Windows Laptop. I really really miss the Apple Trackpad and apparently you can’t buy one for a Windows machine unless it’s on a bootcamp Mac.
Anyway, I’ve searched around and haven’t found many good options. If anyone has any personal experience or recommendations I’d be very grateful. I don’t mind using a mouse but I prefer the Trackpad..don’t know if that’s weird.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but no windows track pads touch the apple one IMPO ;) The newest Dell xps and latitude come really close but still the gestures from the apple pad and really the apple os are just far superior.
The one on my new XPS has a version of “force touch” but again it’s not as good. This PC otherwise kicks ass.

i’d rather scrape my genitals with a cheesegrater than use a touchpad fulltime. get a trackball mouse if you want something much better but quirky :D

I can’t say I know of a PC equivalent to the Apple trackpads but this could help.

We use these with co mputers attached to TVs around the house. Helps give a very solid PC experience from the couch. Backlit and with the touchpad, which also handles various gestures (I think?). They're rechargable via micro-USB.

I like using my Wacom tablet. You can turn on touch mode, which basically makes it a touchpad.

Le sigh. I figured given reviews I've been watching, I should've just demanded a Mac but don't think our IT company would like that. I enjoy windows besides that!

This is my opinion - I rarely use the trackpad on my laptop. On my work one without a trackpoint I pull out a bluetooth mouse unless it’s only a couple minutes and on my personal laptop it’s the IBM nipple!

I must've just have gotten too used to it because my hand gets uncomfortable on my mouse. Thanks I'll look into those

I have a very old version of those for photoshoot things back in the day. Was never super impressed but perhaps the newer ones will help!

I’m working so hard toward a BYOD/We can buy you whatever you want situation for my users. We’re pretty close but no Mac’s yet.
It’s really the OS more than the trackpad itself. Macs gestures are accurate and really easy to use. I can’t say that about any other gesture based inputs of any kind.
I often use my scrawny MacBook12 to remote into all of the power full windows PC’s, but this XPS they just bought me is the nicest computer I have ever owned. i9 32gb, 1tb ssd, GTX 1650 in a slim 15" laptop.

I switched to a trackpad on my Mac years ago and you can have when you pry it out of my cold dead hands. I love it.

I’m more of a keyboard shortcut guy instead of using gestures.

Nothing fancy Logitech midgrade mouse. So maybe upgrade that first?
I have a Razr for my gaming pc that’s a bit nicer - I think I just miss the gestures in OSX

I’d rather have to pass a trackball through my penis than use one in a regular basis. Trackpads are the best.

They are the Lotus Evoras. Trackballs are a 73 Lincoln.

Yeah but you still have to move your hands away from the keyboard to use it.
