Decided to take the Bean today. The AC decided it didn’t want to be out. I thought it was a slipping clutch but a pattern has been discovered. A few minutes of cool air, many minutes of hot air, a few minutes of cool air then back to hot. During the hot air period there was no load on the engine so the compressor definitely wasn’t engaging. I’ll check the charge tomorrow.
