Instant coffee has less than 50% actual coffee in it. Half of it is chicory - its a cheaper bitter root vegetable that’s dried and ground up to cheat people out of their money.

At least, that’s what it says on the Nescafe bottle.

im on hardly any coffee a day now...like...2 cups

so far ive fell of me house and fucked up my arm some...got beaten by stick of firewood..and fucked up me ankle bad enough that now 3 days later its still a little swollen...

and just today i got savaged by a cardboard box....cardboard cuts like a motherfucker....

i dont think this low caffeine thing is working out for me

FFS, add 1/2-1 cup extra! TBH, I’ve been detoxing since losing my job at the end of January. 4 cups was giving me the shakes, but I fucking needed it because I slept like shit even with the CPAP.

I miss the weight loss tho

Tepid take: Café Bustelo sucks. Ground too fi ne for drip, roasted too much for espresso, not enough flavor or aroma to justify the hype.

I haven’ t tried the instant, but Cafe Bustello is my favorite K-cup f0r those situations where there’s no real coffee pot, like the office or certain hotels . It’s not quite espresso, but I haven’t found anything closer in a K-cup. Just remem ber to set it for a short pour (like 4-oz) if you want maximum strength.

as a bonus, everyone wants fancy flavored k-cups these days, so I can usually pick up by Bustello k-cups at a discount over at the Big Lots (ymmv). Drink up!
