I don’t understand the obsession with filling bumpers with more complicated designs in the rear to try and evoke sportiness. They’ve done it in hybrids, in gas cars, and now electrics too.
I just wonder why can’t they leave it alone? just have the bumper end...

It draws attention downward and makes the car look visually taller. Or shorter? Well , I suppose in a design studio. In real life it just looks busy.

Breaking it into smaller sections takes away visual mass. Else you'd just be looking at a large flat monotone expanse.

Then make the car smaller

Isn’t blue the unofficial color of efficiency now? At least for Kia, BMW, and Mercedes (others?).
Above just looks like they threw some fillers onto the standard X3 rear bumper and made them blue to stand out as something special.

Large monotone expanse should be how manufacturers name their cars.
It’s time for some honesty in advertising.

iX3 sounds too complex.
FartBlu is much better.

Toyota’s hybrid badge is also blue.

It’s like the automotive version of a butthole tattoo.
