Not often i come across a car I can’t immediately identify. My friend told me its a Pulse cycle car. I thought it would be an old electric or solor powered contraption, but it turns out they’re NOT super duper slow (though not that fast either, 0-60 in just under 7 seconds or so.)
In other news, my buddy got one of the most amazing campers i’ve ever seen. We should be able to fit one of our...heheh... three lemons cars in there in addition to it generally being a cool RV trailer.
I also went on a little drive last weekend and had to stop to go pee in the woods. The parking lot i stopped at in the middle of nowhere randomly had some great cars.....

I wonder if it has strayed from Tacoma?

Reminds me of something I saw several years ago in Zurich, looks like the more compact equivalent:

I saw one of those driving in to Revival Motorcycles in Austin. Had to stop and ask the guy about it. Revival was going to restore it.
Smelled like an old kit plane, and was about as hot inside, in the middle of TX summer.

If you like that, you’ll love the MonoTracer. It’s been called a number of things over the years, but I think the latest version is the MonoRacer . There’s also an electric version that started off as the ETracer but is now just the electric version of the MonoRacer .

That thing is funky.
Also, I love the Holden badges on the SS

I remember seeing one in a magazine back in the day. As a little kid, i’d always imagine things like this in the future. Alas, such a future is not the one we live in.
I want to see someone build something with four super large wheels with the majority of weight below the axle line
. Then it would lean the correct way in turns, despite being on four wheels.

That trailer looks awesome. I once saw a Class A Motorhome in the Florida Keys that had room in the back for a Mini Cooper. I always thought it would be great to have the Boxster in the back of a portable condo. But that would need way more overhang!
I never got the name (probably custom) but the rear queen bed cranked up and he drove right in. Something like this...
Same idea but this looks way nicer

It’s gotta be the same one. I think there are around 100 in the world and i’m in Seattle.

Any time you can put a car into your RV, you’re getting pretty ridiculous. But ridiculous in a way I like.....

When I first saw it I thought it was a convert -a-plane. One of those things that are terrible cars and terrible planes as well.

Both times I did Oregon Trail Rally the drivers were from California and they brought their cars in the back of a camper trailer.
(Annoyingly I don’t have a photo of the car in the second trailer, and the only photo I have of the car in the first is crap)

For a Boxter, I think you’d do it like these:

There was a Litestar Pulse featured on the front page a few years ago (no info in the article, but comments came through):

For whatever that costs, I can probably by 10 Boxsters and leave them all around the country!!!

True, and honestly you could probably do 20. But then you’d have to sleep in a luxury hotel like a peasant!

I love the general shape of those things. If only there was some way to make them still look like that without falling over or having outrigger wheels. I’m thinking maybe two wheels in pods out the front, but keep the silhouette the same shape.

I think they should talk to Honda. Self-balancing tech could be the solution.

Hah! I didn’t even notice the Holden badge.... I think my friend told me that was a no cost factory option.
He used to own an 06 GTO for several years that he re-badged, de spoilered and front end swapped to monaro spec, so maybe I’m just used to the Holden logo.

Three Lemons Cars??? That’s radical! The camper looks real nice on the inside too, that’s awesome.

barely
fit in there, looks like you had pretty tight clearances as well!

Yeah, technically they’re each owned by a different person (ish) but they all live together at my friend’s compound and we more or less operate as a team. But don’t worry, we did things correctly (the lemons way) and made sure there’s no parts compatibility between the cars, despite them all being basically the same thing from the same time period (though at least the AMC has 8 cylinders, unlike the 6 under the hood of the GM/Ford products
.)

All of them are awesome, but oh man that AMX is a beaut. What events are you nearby? I think (keyword think) I’m going to be heading up to the Lemons Block Party this September with a team of total strangers. Would be cool to stumble upon an Oppo member.

Thanks (even though that one isn’t mine!) I’m in the Seattle area so we mostly stick to the races up here, but we did take the sunbird down to Sonoma a couple of years ago. I’m actually not going to the race at the end of the month up here, but my teammates and car should be there!

Ah got it. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to travel, quite literally, cross country for one of these (though I’m sure people do).

Heh, yeah the roadtrip to California was about the max distance id want to travel.
I highly recommend getting involved locally though! You won’t find a more fun group of enthusiasts.
