I spent 3 hours on the bike today.

I immediately o rdered ear plugs and a softer seat. I’m gonna be looking for a quieter exhaust. It sounds great but my ears are jacked up right now. I’ll be hearing that exhaust note for a while. And! When I got home there was a little bike in the mailbox.

I’m gonna need some beer and relaxation to get that exhaust noise out of my head.

As soon as I can hear my own thoughts, I’ll start taking apart that model for paint. For now the beers are helping. This bike is so freaking loud. It’s fun but holy hell is it loud.

I rented an S2000 from Turo that the owner had recently purchased. He hadn’t been on any long trips with it yet so he didn’t appreciate just how obnoxious the aftermarket exhaust was on it.

Made for a very long weekend. Should have bought some cheap earplugs.

Ear plugs are a necessity for riding. I did it without them for the longest time and regret it.

I have a box of the howard leight disposable earplugs and always keep a few in the pockets of my riding jacket. They’re excellent at taking a normally deafening ride and making it so you can hear when you get home.

What’s on it? The b affle is gone or the packing  old ? I always recommend earplugs even with the quieter helmets and stock exhausts.

It’s been modded.

It really sounds like a race bike, but I'm just trying to keep what little bit of my hearing that I have left. I'm sure my neighbors hated me today. I was in and out 4 times.

Yeah doesn’t seem to be running a db- killer/baffle and the packing might be a tad old as well. I think 2 Bro’s might be a tad on the loud side anyways so you might be better off with something else.

It’s definitely a tad on the loud side. Hopefully the earplugs will fix the situation, because it clearly scares the deer.

A bike that makes deer run away is a good bike

I even use ear plugs in my quiet bike. Highly recommend the no noise ones. You can still hear the important stuff, but don't get the fatigue and headache from no plugs. They're not cheap, but they're washable and reusable and they come in a little cylinder that I keep on my bike keychain so I never forget about them.
