Stuck in traffic, 100 feet below the Hudson river.....yeah, not sure how I would have reacted to seeing this.

The Lincoln tunnel was claustrophobic when I saw it without water pouring in. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeh I'm outta here.

Judging by the story about the MTA that For Sweden posted yesterday, My Cousin’s Party.

Democrats ruin tunnels, Republicans ruin bridges. It’s in the C onstitution.

The corruption in Ne w Jersey transcends party lines. Certainly not like Chris Christie cleaned everything up when he was in charge (one of his bridgegate people just took over Trump’s campaign!)

I was aware of it, but thankfully never bored enough to watch it.

Clearly, more consultants are needed.

That's a pretty good rule of thumb. The Dems here in Cali keep running "subway lines to LAX" but always miss the actual airport by a few miles. Maybe I should just send 'em a Garmin?

I will say I’ve been tempted a few times, but never committed.
Need to watch Star Wars first. Although now they’ve got to o many, and they have this whole ‘new order’ thing. So it just doesn’t happen.

Well, it is the region that birthed 45.
I know when I want world class infrastructure, I look to red states!

Dunno. I can take a train to the airport in Dallas, Atlanta and Fort Worth.
Try that to LAX or JFK.

As well as SEA, PDX, SFO, YVR, and all airports in the first world (western Europe).
I also have a memory of going from JFK to Manhattan on a rail system, pretty sure something exists there too.
Nice try though bud.

Nah, famously the JFK thing’s been an embarrassment forever, much like LGA.
And for those of us who deal with California’s crap all the time? They stopped investing in infrastructure in 1978, about the time Prop 13 came in. The best way to LAX? A bus sitting. In traffic.
You should travel more. You might learn something, “Bud”. Or, have your CPAP adjusted to clear out the fuzz.

I dunno, it works for thousands upon thousands of people who use it every day. I see you dodged the other cities listed there. In a nation with a broken social contract like the US, it serves its purpose. Maybe you should travel more and see how transport works in the actual first world. I f you hate CA so much, move, like so many of your brethren .
The buses in LA are good old fashioned
capitalism at work, you get the justice you pay for, the American golden rule
. Corporations buy public policy, public subsidization of private profit.
Trying to think of a red state with a city like LA and a better solution. Hmmm...
This all seems familiar. A re you the brother of another know it all California locust of a certain age demographic who also tells amazing stories about endless travels and connections and is a Tesla skeptic (I can agree with you on that one)? What an amazing coincidence....bud !
