No. Not that bottle...
Shielding gas for my mig welder... 75%AR 25%C02
I do not see what flow rate to use.. does it depend on metal being welded? Size of the filler wire? Time of day?

A good starting point for me inside a garage with the door open and minimal breeze is 20 cfh - when the trigger is pulled. Set it to close to 20, pull the trigger and adjust to 20 . If you have a breeze, you may need more, if it’s dead still you may need less. Play around until it works best. You will notice a distinct difference between not enough and enough. Practice, practice, practice.

I guess it all depends on the nozzle size... what does it typically use? I have no idea how big mine is.... there is a dirty joke in there somewhere.

I have two (2) bottles of Popov in my pantry. It’s undrinkable even with a mixer. Time to sugar it up and dilute it with some jungle juice or pink panty dropper!

I thought most MIG nozzles will be around the same size. What welder are you using?

Hobart 140; I am guessing it’s the most common ... 5/8?

I’ve had my share of bad alcohol. This one takes the title. On par with drinking straight rubbing alcohol, but less potent

I’m likely running the same setup. I generally kept my flow between 15 - 20 cfh.

Yeah. I think the consensus is around 20 cfh. I’ll give it a try.
I got 60 CF bottle. I am guessing that should last... 3 hours of button pressing?

Back in the old USSR, my town folks were real alcoholics. With supplies running out, there was no vodka or any other alcohol to buy.
Near our town was a military airport. They used heavy duty alcohol to wash jets with .
Well, the town alcoholics ended up stealing some.
3 dudes got together one night and had this alcohol.
Within hour they had burnt esophagus, went blind and all three died.
Now that was bad alcohol.

In theory. It’s not like you’ll be laying one continuous bead for three hours, though. You’ll find it’ll last a decent amount of time.

If I am welding for 3 continuous hours, please send help. I’ve fallen on the welding gun, got electrocuted and messed up what I was working on

It will run out thought just as you have 3-4 more welds to do on a project and can’t finish until you get another bottle.

with my luck, this thing is currently filled with N.O.S.
As soon as I start welding, I will singe my eye brows off
