Parts have arrived.

Kinja'd!!!

Here’s the stockpile inventory...

Kinja'd!!!

Disc brake conversion kit (Kelsey-Hayes front calipers, master cylinder, rotors, pads, proportioning valve, discs, assorted hard lines, assorted hardware)

Rear drum rebuild (hardware, drums, wheel cylinders, shoes)

All new rear axle brake hard lines

New front to rear brake hard line

New steel fuel line

Air cleaner

Hoses

Wiring harnesses (Underhood stuff)

Various nuts and bolts

Ignition Coil mount

Rear leaf springs

Inner and outer tie rod ends

Roller idler arm

The entire above list was paid for by selling eight 1:18 diecast cars. A couple of them were high dollar, and I have about 10 more in the $20-30 range to toss on eBay.

I still need to get shocks and a front end suspension rebuild kit figured out. Wheels and tires are also on the to do list. I’m also planning on rebuilding the manual steering box.

I plan on starting at the rear of the car while I figure out new control arms for the front end. I’m not sure if I’ll clean up and paint the rear wheel wells or not, yet. Ill probably  miss my arbitrary Aug 1 deadline to be road worthy. Not a big deal though, I’ll just keep plugging away.

Wow, that is fantastic! Rooting you on for getting it road worthy.

I have a 68 that has been in storage for about 20 years. It will need all of the stuff you listed off.

Three  Exoto 1:18 Ferraris. Bought them new about 20 years ago for $80 each. Sold them for much more. At one time, I had every Exoto 1:18 Ferrari they made. If I still had them, I could have bought a near new full size Mustang for the prices they bring.

Back in the day, Exoto used to have sales for $79, sometimes a bundle of 4 of the same model (but different drivers/finishes) for $200. I sold the bulk of my old ones to a Ferrari owner about 10 years ago...he got a smoking deal, but at that time, they weren’t selling for crazy prices, either.

Thanks! I’m looking forward to getting started. At least I think I am,I am not looking forward to cursing frozen bolts, nuts, etc.

When I lay down to get underneath the car, he tends to come over and start licking my face and lays down next to me.
