Things can change in a matter of seconds. I popped by the VW dealership earlier and I left in a brand new 2020 Golf GTI SE DSG in Tornado Red.

I got a ridiculous deal on it and honestly can’t be happier. I’d been eyeing one for a while, but I finally pulled the trigger on it.

Here’s to many happy miles.

I hope you like it. The dsg made my mkvi a little boring, but then again I was coming from a r53 mini Cooper (6speed supercharged), and ended up in a 2001 Miata. The thing was just too efficient and effortless

Nice I often think about that 2012 Turbo Beetle I didn’t get to buy a few years ago. That was a stupid good deal and I should have just jumped on it. 6500 bucks for a 6 year old car with 85000 miles.

Oh man that car is HOT, I love it.

I also have to mention that I recently learned that Nissan color code 904 white is called Ki li manjaro White. So technically you can can see a Datsun rise like Olympus above the Serangetti .

A $20k markup just to have them file the order for you and let you take delivery at their dealer is dumb. Its one stupid thing for dealers to put a markup on a car that belongs to the dealer but putting it on a custom order is a next level reason to never do business with that dealer.

I didn’t know they existed as names beyond “white” blue etc... until I got more into the Z history. This is the kind of info you print for your display at cars and coffee. 1 of 40,000 manufactured in 1970, 1 of 870 white with blue interior. 1 of 4 sold from Napa Imports... blah blah blah... 1 of 20 still on the road...
