I flew in one of those with my dad and an old pilot buddy he has who used to fly them for the BLM. I loved it, spotter planes have the best view.

we have a nice little air museum down here in Ft Worth that features this plane, “Fort Worth Aviation Museum”

I live in Austin, but have never heard of that museum. You sure it has this Crusader? It does have an F-8 Crusader. I’ll have to check this place out some time. Thanks for the tip!

no not saying that particular one, they are big fans of that type is what i meant to say, there are two very good air museums close together on the north side close to Meacham Field, if in the area they are well worth visiting for the fan of aviation
