Took the Mini out on a 90 minute run the local auto parts store a couple of miles away today. It was nice to get out of the house . Grabbed some food from Del Taco and enjoyed being outside for a bit.

Jealous.

I have the repairable shell at the guys shop who restors mini shells. Had to put the hold o n it all with all  this job uncertainty. So, Sometime Ill have the shell gettin done. probably over winter/spring when we all know how in the clear we all will be with this. Mine will be the early 80s space blue/white top and yellow rally lights front.

Classic Minis are so few and far between. Puts the size of modern cars right into perspective. I see you parked close to the front so you wouldn't get run over by someone thinking the spot was open.

I tend to do that just for a bit of visibility. Also, there was basically no one else parked in the lot so I grabbed the shady bit.

I can take it apart and go through what to repair or replace. But at the moment I'm just banking money until my job is in the clear. So....it sits.
