We spent last weekend Svending the Outback. It’s been in need of new tires for a while now and it finally got a set this week.

We went with Pirelli Centurato in the OEM size. One of the complaints with this car is the road noise and these should be quieter. We’re getting ready for a trip, so I guess we’ll see!

In other news, my son just learned that you should always check your boots before putting them on. Fortunately, this little guy didn’t get squished. I was lucky enough to be watching when he put the boot on. I’ve never seen him jump like that. :)

Outback questions : which engine do you have, what kinda MPGs do you see, have you ever put a cargo box/rack on top, and is this a vehicle you’d recommend for a looong cross-country trip that might require occasionally sleeping in the back (rear seats removed, plywood bed built)?

My wife’s Beetle has had Pirelli Cinturato tires on it for a year now. They’re nice and quiet and handle all weather conditions just fine. Would buy again. I think you’ll be happy with them.
