Kinda looks like an alternate universe 2nd gen Ford GT, where they carried on that retro GT40 influence, rather than the more clean sheet design we got.

This is pretty close to a perfect execution.

I see a mashup of GT40 and Porsche 904.

That is a beautifully modernized 904 Carrera GTS. Absolutely gorgeous.

Would love to see it with a tuned version of the FA24 Turbo engine... or a flat-6.

Frankly, this makes Factory Five 818 look like it shouldn’t even be road-worthy… if this is what is possible with a custom-built Subaru-powered mid-engine custom build.

The only down side, I probably can’t fit in it.

Porsche should take a note... 718 succeeded 550. 904 succeeded 718.

This interpretation (although, steering clear of Peugeot’s naming scheme) should succeed the modern 718 for it’s next generation. I really like the looks of the 981/718, other than the bland front fascia of the 718... but this is even better looking.

I would love to see a targa version with removeable roof panels or a folding top like Ferrari/McLaren/C8 Vette convertible ... like a junior 918 Spyder.
