The XK8 and DB7 are both the same car based on the older XJ-S chassis from 1975. Ford bought Aston and Jaguar and looked at the ancient Aston lineup and wanted a new car immediately. All that they had was a half-finished Jaguar concept car that was essentially a gussied-up XJ-S. They put it into production with different fascias as the DB7, then as the XK. One of my favorite automotive stories. The XJ- S existed in some capacity from 1975 to 2006 when the first-gen XK gave way to a new XK based on the far more modern XJ sedan platform.

Well I’ll be damned...
OK, so I can’t exactly “find one” to add as I just got my new toy delivered last week, so the wife wouldn’t exactly be thrilled with me wanting to add something else already lol.
But damn, a manual DB7 is a rare bird, and my absolute favorite from the company.
