Ute gets pulled over for speeding. Driver’s excuse is “I wasn’t watching my speed because I was fighting off a poisonous snake with a knife”.

In Florida the story would be the same, except the driver would be hallucinating an imaginary snake.

As i f S traylia wasn’t dangerous enough with its poisonous stuff, they’re now trying to kill you whilst driving a death machine! It’s like the whole country is Dawin’s accelerated test lab.

This story caused some consternation even in Australia... because most of us live in cities and suburbia and have only ever seen a snake in a zoo.
Meanwhile, I took one of our chickens to town last week because I left the farm ute door open and the radio on in the parking area . She climbed in and hunkered down to lay an egg in the passenger foot well amongst the tie down straps...
