From the neighborhood where I grew up. One owner for as long as I can remember.

Awesome! There are almost none left here and the ones I do see are in pretty bad shape....last one I saw was the one at the
salvage yard I recorded at
awhile ago!

My mom had one of those. Hers was a Dodge Omni. It was a good car.

There used to be a minty H-body Lancer a few blocks away, too, but I haven’t seen it in a long time.

I learned to drive a manual transmission on a 1981 Dodge Omni Miser. Yes, the trim level was “Miser”. I’m not sure what Chrysler what thinking. “Hey, are you cheap and don’t want to spend any money? This is the car for you!”. It had no air conditioning, black vinyl, a single-speaker AM radio, no right-side mirror, no power steering, crank windows and no tachometer. That car was awful and it was the car that made my parents swear never again to get an American car.
I can’t imagine why anybody would still want to drive one. There is nothing to be nostalgic about.

1986+ with CHLSM. IIRC this was offered through MY 1990.
My dad had a Horizon when I was a kid, he was quite pleased with it, much more than with the S-10 Blazer that came later.

My parents had a Plymouth Horizon when I was born, it was the first new car they bought together (traded in my mom's old Pontiac Sunbird). To this day, they both will kind of shudder if you mention that car to them, apparently they had a horrible experience with it and only kept it a little over 2 years. Replaced with a Ford Tempo, which was much, much worse.
