So last year I swapped that 4d55 in. It was put of an 85 Dodge D50 with 220k on it. I always thought it had too much blow-by .

I sourced a new aftermarket 4d56 assembled short block and head from AliExpress. Took 9 days to get it here from China. I’m gonna dress the 4d56 up in the 4d55 manifolds, turbo, injection pump, etc.

Aso have new water and oil pumps for it.

If I had stupid money, I’d have bought a brand new jyundai\kia d4bf longblock. They bought the rights and machining from Mitsubishi for those. You could even get a G pajero sold as a Hyundai galloper.
