Oppo I turned my perfectly good low mileage sv650 into a street fighter.

Its a nose from a ‘97 srad gsxr750. Really liking the new forks compared to the old ones.

Need to bleed the brakes again, they're a little squishy

#savetheS I hate seeing SV’s getting street fightered. Honestly, they look like it was wrecked and you didnt have the coin to fix it right. I get some ppl like the look. (and I like the front forks) but eh.

dont forget to do something about the rear shock too.

If I could find a nakedv   with nice suspension and bad ergos (monster?) I wouldn’t have had to resort to this lmao

The previous owner hacked up the battery box and put a gsxr shock in it, not sure what year or model lol.

I need to tuck the new wiring a little nicer, and actually get the front fender painted instead or rattlecanned

And once I get the black rear wheel on it’ll be a lot more cohesive (part of the reason I didn’t get gold forks from a later gsxr is to make it look less hodgepodge-y)

Yeah, I’ve never been fond of the looks of the half fairing SV. I like it.

I love it.  The early, round frame SVs are a favorite and I always thought one would make a fun streetfighter.  Now chop the tail and go monoposto!

It was a naked originally, which helped with the gauges looking right now that I'm done

Looks great, I have a 2006 SVS which is turning 50,000 miles, still rides like new, recent refresh with oil, coolant, brake fluid, new tires, etc.  One thing I’m missing is the front forks probably never been touch, I may need to do what you did and go for the GSXR front end.
