Yeah it’s not much over 35 years, but still! Never thought the engine would survive that long and it’s going strong! Not bad for what was nothing more than a prototype engine that Mazda didn’t want to see sold outside of Japan due to reliab ility risks haha

I love this thing! The 85 I had was over 170k when I passed it on to the new owner. Did you have a change of heart and decide to keep it?

What a lovely machine! It always makes me smile to see a rotary on the road. I think 35 years is more impressive than 62,000 miles. Has it never been rebuilt?

Might have been... I honestly have no idea... Considering that it was a stripped out mountain/track car before, it might have been.

I love the red interior as well. Such beautiful cars but they don’t have much of a presence on the road.

It "more or less fits"... Also not the original interior. Original interior was lost and that's one from an earlier SA.

I did have questions about that. Was the entire interior stripped? Did you unmodify some of the bits?

I got it with that interior... Car was fully stripped out, then crashed in a river, parked for like 10 years , interior was lost .... quite a history lol

I’m very glad you still have this. Mine’s hanging out in storage these days, waiting for me to have time/energy/money to deal with the very-leaky dowel o-rings.

Hey Flavien, out of curiosity, what are FC3S prices like over there nowadays?
RX-7 prices in the US have been getting out of control lately, so it makes me start wondering if I could almost just import a semi-clean JDM one for a similar or less cost, haha.
