Especially fine in R-Line trim. I had a 2010 R-Line CC, very attractive car. My only mistake was that I couldn’t find a manual at the time, so it was a DSG auto. Beggars sometimes cannot be choosers on the used car market.
Unlike the DSG 2.oT in the GTI, in the CC it feels rather boring for some reason, also no paddles on the pre-facelift models.
It drives excellent, essentially a small-midsize luxury car.

Yep, very beautiful cars. There are a few in the town i work in. I always stare when i see them. Im loath to leave toyota/lexus reliability but the Passat CC and the Phaeton W12 are the two cars that tempt me so much.

The facelift was I think 2013 in the US market, they offered shift paddles in the steering wheel, which makes it a bit more fun on the DSGs.
Very attractive in person, it was the first mainstream sedan that followed the “coupe” design. Of course the Mercedes CLS started that first. This does mean your passengers need to watch their heads when stepping into the rear seats.
H ere is a picture of my R-Line trim, which is purely a cosmetic package of lower aero bits, fog lights and wheels.

Yes, I see them on occasion and they are quite striking in person.
