I live in DC metro, and me and a buddy once saw a guy in full army camo commuting on a bicycle at dusk. It was like, dude, get changed or put on a reflective vest or something.  I t was like a bicycle riding itself. Guy was nuts (or dumb).

My dad has a ‘12, and it is okay at best looks wise. I think it got marginally better with the gen between this one and my dads, but the new one is god awful.

I prefer the GMC, but that’s only because I sold them. I would say the current (NOT the 2021 ) F-150 is the most handsome of the current lineup.

Honestly, if I didn’t have to pay for the inevitable breakdowns, I’d take the Ram.

Having worked at a dealer, one of two things will happen. This thing will sell immediately causing the GM to spec out another one just like it , which will sit for 9 months before selling, or the first one will just sit for 9 months before selling.

Our GM refused to ever put a dime into customizing trucks once they hit the lot, because if it wasn’t to someone’s specific taste, they  were impossible to get rid of.

I’m not sure 100% your regs for the US, but if that was a legit service member they typically aren’t allowed to wear something like  a reflective vest while in uniform . Basically, you wear the uniform as it is ( with 0 alterations) or commute in civi clothes.

Perhaps he also took transit with the bike and wanted the freebie while in Uni? I’m not sure.
