Todays shirt is a crew shirt from 2015 season of Grahm Rahal’s 2015 season.
It was a good year for Grahm, when in June he won the MAVTV 500 at Fontana, breaking a 124 race winless drought dating to 2008 in St Petersburg, making the longest gap between race wins for a driver in Indycar history. He ended up with 2 victory’s and finished 4th in points for his best season to date.
You can see my shirt on what looks to be a race engineer behind Grahm. The shirt is polyester with iron on logo work. Just like today’s wrapped bodywork isn’t the same for me as the old hand painted/stickered cars. This iron on logo, polyester shirt is just not the same as my other shirts having stitched logos and rugged cotton construction .
Oh well, th ey just don’t make them like they used to......

“ Nothing like it” is about the race to build the transconti nen tal railroad. It’s very good Ambrose .
“Is P aris B urning” is one of the great WW2 books. It is about the German Ge neral who was ordered to destroy Paris before the Allies took it.
I read both in about a single seating because they were that good.
