We went to the Oregon dunes and rented Polarises (Polarisi?). My younger son had a 300 cc ATV because he is under 18. It was very fun, including the part where members of our group got stuck. Mrs. IM and I were in 1, my older son and his GF each had their own one seaters, and we tooled around the sand together. My son’s GF was a badness driver, and made me proud that I gave her his old Subie instead of selling it. She told me that she loves the manual and wants her next car to be one too; she knows how to gain favor with thus family.
I have ridden the Ducati every day here, which made me really happy I brought it. It was about an hour ride up to the dunes with a chilly ride back in the fog. But all smiles. That Ducati sound really is amazing. I get giddy when I twist the throttle and hear it clear its throat. Today we head south to see some lighthouses and I think I will ride again.
Hope you all are well. There was an earthquake felt in Fresno yesterday that all our friends back home are talking about. I'd rather be here right now.

Nice view and sounds like a nice time. I’ve never been to Oregon.
And I like the sound of the odd Ducati I come across... better that the usual H-D potato potato sound that is so common.

Sounds like you’re having a great time. My dunes experience taught me that my wife is not a fan of going fast and really didn’t like being off the pavement. She knew I had a bit of an adventurous side, but it was the first time she was along for the ride! :)

I clicked for the Toby pics but wanted to mention that I appreciate reading things from your perspective. It’s not something I’m exposed to elsewhere and it’s rational enough to digest without making my head explode.
