This Saab 96 hangs around my neighborhood. Never have managed to meet the owner... but it’s in good driving condition as I see her puttering around in it from time to time. This one dates to 67-73 as far as I can tell from a cursory googling.

73HP from a 1.5L V4. Interestingly, there was also a 841cc version which was used to set a land speed record at Bonneville, albeit with a highly modified engine.

I have never seen one in the flesh. FWD was a tough sell below the rust belt. That looks pretty nice, especially for a driver.

I see a few different shades of cream color, which just means it has been loved.

Ri ght? I feel like daily driving a classic means you have to have a job/life with extra flexibility... Like the flexibility to walk I stead of drive if need be.
