"Snuze: Needs another Swede" (markg)

Found this guy while we were walking Ozzy. He was in the middle of the street, not far from a tree, but I didn’t see a nest in it.
I took him home and called the local vet/animal rescue and they said to put him back. I explained I couldn’t find the nest, so they said I should make one and put it in a tree. So I got a plastic tub, lined it with shredded paper, and screwed it to a tree limb. I’ ll go take it down after little Randall flies away (or gets eaten by an animal).
Good luck, Randall!

Good luck little fella! I expect Randall updates now...
Also, anytime anyone says Randall, it makes me think of Randall from the Infinity Train cartoon (which is an AMAZING cartoon, by the way)

That actually looks pretty funny!
Randall is the first name I came up with. Ill check on him tomorrow morning when I walk Ozz and report in.

Awesome, keep us apprised! I love critters :)
Yup, if you like cartoons, Infinity Train is awesome....I GUESS you could call it a ‘kids cartoon’...but it’s not as they really designed it to be enjoyable by people of all ages. It explores some pretty deep themes. Each episode is only 10-20 mins long and I think about 10-12 episodes per ‘season’ (Infinity Train calls their seasons ‘Books’). So far there have been two seasons, Book 1 and Book 2. No official word on a ‘Book 3', but I hope there is one as they’ve developed an interesting world for the show’s story and some cool characters.
If you want another amusing adult cartoon, check out Starship Goldfish...which doesn’t actually have any seasons other than a full pilot episode and 2 mostly-done animatic episodes as the guy who created it is still pitching it to various TV/streaming companies to take the show on...it’s HILARIOUS though...
dumpsterfire!

My girlfriends dog came precariously close to this little chick today.
It's a magpie, probably the runt of the nest.

Whether it lives or gets eating, either way you're helping someone, it just might not be the bird

Infinity Train. What is that, Snowpiercer in the summer?
Starship Goldfish view pending while I do something.

If by Snowpiercer in the Summer you mean a surprisingly deep cartoon about an infinite other-dimension
train that abducts people from the ‘real world’
to help them change and gain skills to
deal with their socio-emotional pr
ob
lems, then yes :P
Also, Infinity Train has Corgis. CORGIS.

That corgi land is the cutest thing I've ever seen. Too good to last so there is probably an evil one. I think we could use a few abductions right about now.

The main character only stays there for one episode, but gets a lot of help from one of them along the way :)

Sadly no...prob hard to find on Youtube...the rights are owned by HBO right now, so I think you can stream it on HBO Max? Otherwise, try Daily Motion and some of those slightly sketchier streaming sites, I guess? :(
Here’s the first season (Book 1) if you don’t mind visiting a sketchy streaming site FILLED with annoying ads
....sadly there aren’t many places to watch it other than HBOMax....they and the Cartoon Network (who originally created the show) before that have locked it down really hard. We don’t get HBOMax for streaming up here in Canada, so sites like that are the only place I can watch it, frustratingly...

It looks like it might be available on Hulu, which we get every few months to watch The Goldbergs, so next time we get that I’ll see if I can watch it. It looks like the kind of cartoon I would enjoy!

I really enjoyed it, both Book (season)
1 and Book (season)
2. The music is also awesome...by a composer called Chrome Canyon, it’s mostly 80's style techno synth-y stuff :)
