Hey, look! It’s a dragonfly... oh.

I spent too long trying to figure out what kind of bug that was.

Here you go, before it spreads.

Thanks! Yeah that’s what I’ve been googling this morning at the office.
Do you have experience with this one by chance?

It’s Monday so I would probably have done the same if I hadn’t heard the effing rock hit.

Will your insurance replace?
Nothing

Generally better for a rounder hit, but it’s cheap enough and makes it look better. On my wife’s Jeep, she had a doozy of a hit, and while there’ s one small crack still visible, the rest filled really good. It’s been like that with no spreading for a couple of years now.

I’ve used this as well for my wife’s car. Went through one winter so far without any spread.

What’s the last thing that goes through a bug’s mind when it hits your windshield?
His ass.

Damn.....
Put a tape on it so moisture doesnt seep in.
It will be an easy fix but it might still be visible as a small spec after the fix.

Dunno. I have a high deductible so I’m thinking it might not be worth it, but have to check still.

It’s dead center width wise, and relatively low. Not directly in my field of view, so a small speck would be ok. I’m going to try to repair first. Thanks!

Most will cover windshields 100%
This shit works pretty good though for just $10

Okay, that’s not too bad.
Make sure you do it in warm weather with no wind. Preferably indoors.
Use a heat gun or a lighter to warm up the glass. The resin flows better when the windshield is warm.

yep, I just used it a little over a week ago. Doesn’ t completely remove the crack, but possibly will prevent it from spreading. It’s worth a try.

At first I thought 'is there a irrational fear of dragonflies?', or perhaps it was some new murder insect I had not heard of. I was just starting to entertain the idea of some sort of Boston Dynamics thing, then I ran the comments lol.
