My dad is visiting this weekend so it’s 100% Datsun 100% of the time this weekend. We just finished the brake master cylinder and calip er replacement and will start on suspension bushings next.

I love Techno Toy Tuning, everything I have bought from them has fit perfectly and been easy to adjust etc.. I always tell people to see if they have anything they need. My plug wires were blue so I just went with it, if I ever pull the engine to paint the bay I might paint it all orange.

Sort of an informal paid apprenticeship. Its not my car, just a side job getting it back into daily drivable shape, fixing the rust, and eventually paint

Yeah that’ s what I mean haha. Actually the parts on the towers are steel and painted I think and the fire wall block is aluminum so I would have to do both.

Nice, the guys at T3 are totally independent and design it all themselves near Sacramento, very nice stuff and pretty decent prices for a small operation. I noticed a huge difference in the front end stability, thinking back before it the car really flexes in tight turns. I do want a LSD for it, pretty much all I need now to make tight turns better, we have redwood forests and steep wet hair pins over Mt. Tamalpais that never dry out (moss actually grows on them) and I spin it up easily.

Yes it does say ZRMIN8R, a play on words from Terminator. He’s had the plate for 20 years or more now. The car is a 3.1 L stroker with >10.5:1 compression.
You have a lot of car projects, I’m intimidated with my one project car. Good luck with the M37. I’d like to see that thing on the road.

The Z isn’t a project anymore, it’s all good. The M can drive, all that is done , it’s all details now. The heater M151 heater was just put in, probably could have left that for later but he was figuring out what he wanted to do. The combat rims will be badass. I would love a stroker but I have the original engine and I can’t do that to it, nor do I have time or room to get another engine and store the original.
