gawd damn thats thing is beautiful.  IT might need just a little more rubber on those elastic bands they are trying to pass off as tires.

Thats the Mirzam wheel, its an 18x8", which is a lot of wheel for a car that originally had 15x6.

I’d like those wheels a LOT if they were 16s .

I miss my old 850 wagon. No turning radius, but it handled 21 pounds of boost like a champ. It would just keep accelerating. Until I had a flat tire and a drunk slammed into the back of it. On a Sunday. Morning. Replaced it with a Mini Cooper :/

This is the closest I could find, but Volvo has offered about eleventy billion wheels over the years, and they have only used 2 bolt patterns - 5x108mm and a 4 lug (don’t remember the diameter). But it means almost any Volvo wheel will work on any other Volvo.

I run 16s on my 850 sedan that came with 15s , and I’m going to put 17s on my 240 wagon that came with 14s!

That’s the best photo of your 850 you’ve posted. What a lovely color. Great wheel combo too.

Lovely car, the wheels suit it well. A very fancy vibe.

What a shame :(
You could fit the Min i in the back of that thing, I presume.

Thank you!

The wheels give it a kind of rally vibe, I think. If I didn't have too many other projects and hobbies, I'd keep it, put a 1" lift on it and some beefier tires, and use it for RallyX.

Thank you.  I saw your recent pics of your wagon, I think it looks great!

Really living up to the prancing moose badge. I don't think you can do anything to make that car look bad.

Thanks!  I think I could but it would take work.  But I wouldn't want to, its a great little car.  I am actually considering selling my Cruze and making that my primary driver until I find a replacement for the Cruze.

I say go for it. Saves some money too. What are you thinking in the way of replacements? Buying new or used? Not sure what practicality you need but I'm loving the current Veloster in all flavors.

Well we have a SUV and very soon will have a station wagon so practical is covered. Id probably buy something used. My dream right now is a Camaro SS 1LE, but its really hard for me to spend that kind of money on a car like that when 98% of the time I'm just going to sit in traffic whilst commuting.  So the car that Im really into at the moment is the Cadillac ATS with the 2.0 turbo and 6 speed manual.

Didn’t know those came with the 6 Speed. You might get a used CTS V for some more bucks. I see you’re really leaning into the power side of performance.

Only the 2.0T had the manual, there aren’t too many out there.

I've looked at CTS-Vs, but the 2nd gen cars (~2011 and later, with the LSA supercharged engine) are fetching $30k or more, which is Camaro SS money.

I thought they had depreciated more than that. Chevy SS can be a little cheaper though.

Never knew that Caddy offered a stick so recently. Might be tough to find but would make for a cool, fun, and un iq ue ride.

I found 1 SS with a stick, it’s $35k. I also found a few G8 GXPs with sticks, but they are all in the $25-35k range.

I think the ATS with a stick would be great fun, and the 2.0 turbo is a great little engine. Like most recent Caddies it's let down by it's interior.  It's not bad, just not up to part with the Germans.
