nowhere near as good as the original.....tho...i think thats at least partially intentional....its still closer to the mark than the statham deathreace

The original was hilariously horrid.

The Statham remake was trying too hard to be a serious action film and while it is a decent bad movie, it lacks any of the low-prodcution-value  charm the original has.
