I’ve often wished I owned an establishment with a parking lot so I could set aside a Jeeps-only section.
How much for a nice folding chair with a nice carrying bag? $300. Qui te the Yeti tax.
And please, please tell me they’re just recycling these signs from last year.

Stores seem to start packing up the summer merchandise in April and May now, back to school sales start in July in the places that are going back to school this year .

I know the seasons are shifted a bit, but 1 week before summer starts seems like it’s pushing things.

I know I’ve gone shopping for new shorts and sandals and the like right before a July vacation before and had trouble finding decent selection, because the mall stores were starting to put out fall clothes already. First time I noticed that, and it still seems stupid.

That chair is even more overpriced than the coolers.
Don’t you know that you’re supposed to shop for your summer needs when there are still snow drifts on the ground? I had to stop by Target last week, ad the outdoor/grilling section was basically empty. I was debating on if they were pushing the seasonal change even earlier, had cut back their orders due to the virus hurting sales, or a bit of a combination of both.

I only left that out because I don’t know when goods intended for the retail summer season start hitting the ports of entry. I fully expect to see a major disruption of fall clothing and items.

Couple weeks to clear customs, 3 weeks for the ship to sail, week to clear/unload. send out to distribution centers. Given that Christmas stuff arrived in 4-5 months ahead, I’d say Jan/feb shutdowns could screw production/distribution.
