Weird 2000s Malachite Green? Check!
Giant chromed wheels? Check!
Lambo doors? You know it!
Motorized trunk? Yep!
Giant screen gauge cluster? This is starting to feel like a foreshadowing....
Double-dick drive?...............Did. Not. Expect. That.

Every few decades an automaker will try and reinvent the steering wheel. None of the ideas ever take hold, because just use a damn steering wheel.

This is the 1996 Paris show concept with the creative name “F200". I’ll have to dig through my pics, I am certain I have seen it at least once at the MB Museum.
Fantastic color, too.

Double-dick drive, lol.
Boy that boot lid is like. More complicated than any other approach, and yet the opening is smaller. Worst of both worlds, well done Mercedes.
The glass roof, huge screen and even the grill I think has predicted trends a decade or more ahead which is cool.

Thanks for the correction. I don't know why I thought this was 2006...
