Customer’s bought a new Wrangler Rubicon Recon today and stacked it on their JK Rubicon today. Badass people!
It is great seeing someone put these very capable vehicles to actual use. This new Sarge Green Recon won’t have an easy life but that’s what uh #Wranglerlife is supposed to be about, right?
I am definitely going to miss seeing this thing. It was a great spec!

Given the people that drive Jeeps around my area, I would expect this to be an accident, and probably in a mall parking lot.
Hopefully these folks will be making better use of them than the dingbats around here.

The tail end of the (mostly) annual Toledo Jeep Fes t parade is a group of three Jeeps who stop every few hundred feet and show off like that.
Apparently I haven’t taken any photos of it, but it’s a crowd-pleaser.

Haha I guess I didn’t think of it like that. These people seem very professional, so let’s hope.

It’s kinda silly but was also badass to see it rolled off the showroom floor and up onto their other Rubicon.
I was definitely nervous watching!

I’ve never tried.
I’m too old for this shit.

Ann d that’s the only “ Off- roading” that JL will ever see.

That’s pretty common occurrence here. I always see it as needlessly showy but whatever makes a person happy

That green is great color

If they did that slowly and intentionally I think those Jeeps are in good hands.

One of my favorites!

Lol this is a typical jeep thing. Wrangler owners do this more than actually going offroad. Smh

But right off the lot? I get it being lame at car shows but this was cool

Not sure why they spent all that money on the Rubicon just to gut it and redo the whole suspension, axles, linkages, frame parts, add rock bars, winches, light kits, remove all the interior bits and put in a regulation roll cage, dump the doors, roof. Oddly enough the engines usually stay relatively stock.
Jeep should sell a “modder” stripped down version with the good engine/trans combo but not much else. Rubber mats, cheap seats.

Eh maybe not but there are a many Wranglers here in MI that have been less offroad than my lowered Miata

I’m not sure if people enjoy seeing what it does stock then building it up but I get what you mean.
Yeah I would love for them to do that. Then again our loaded models sell the quickest usually so maybe they know best?

Ha definitely the same here. I joke that a lot of Subaru’s see more trails.

Dude, Oppo has rules about this.

No vehicle is consistently cleaner around here, than a lifted Wrangler with ugly wheels and a stupid squinty eyed grill.

Yep- and around Hinsdale, any loaded JK or JL is probably driven by a teenager.

...What? Are wheels car boobs? My gosh, what am I typing...

Rubicon, 4 door, body color hard top, steel bumpers, LED lights ... that thing was not cheap.
They seem like the kind of people that use it, good on ‘em.

54k! I love the spec but it's definitely not cheap. They're going to enjoy the heck out of it if their 16 Rubicon is any indication

Hell yeah. This is ‘merica I can believe in.

Oh definitely not questioning FCA’s marketing strategy on Jeeps! Just thinking there’s an untapped market.
