I’ve done trips to Costco and BJ’s in the Miata and have come close to getting more stuff than I can fit more than a few times . Careful positioning of the larger items in the trunk and liberal use of the parcel shelf behind the seats have always saved the day.

I once loaded a $300 grocery run, a $200 liquor store run, and 3 people into a dune buggy with room to spare. (One of my proudest moments with that vehicle.) So yeah... I wouldn’t say small cars are impractical .

There you go! I had a Honda Ruckus in college. First trip to the the grocery store with it  and I shopped like I had driven my Xterra ... I had someone ask to take a picture in the parking lot of all the bags tied to the frame so they could show their son that they needed more than two wheels when they moved off campus. The beer had to ride home in my lap and I never made that mistake again!

I blame my coworker. I don’t drink soda but he started bringing it in to the office and was always offering it to people, now I can’t not buy some when I’m out. It fills the “cold fizzy” want without being sugar/syrup-to-death.

My diet has a lot of “quantity over quality” in that I don’t really eat much, but what I do isn’t particularly health-food. I’ve been losing weight since working from home since I’m not going out to lunch a few times a week (saving money too!)

There’s small quantities of fresh-er stuff buried in there, but being just me in the house, if I can’t eat it within a few days and it doesn’t last more than a few days, it goes bad.

I live alone. Shopping at cotsco/sams club would provide months worth of food at a time.

That’s exactly it, I use it in places where I’d normally have soda, like with most takeout and fast foods.

I still enjoy the odd sugar soda but not without an immense sense of guilt, usually to the point where I’ll drink half a can and pour the other half down the sink.
