Bearing is as good (bad) as yesterday after a day of autox. So it’ll be fine till I get back home (mostly)
What do you do when one of the rear wheel bearings is *just* starting to show some movement and you are heading to the neighbouring state to autocross for 2 days?
You of course pack every tool required to change the bearing and order one at the place you are going to....
Am I doing this right?

Just don’t corner too hard and send it through the rear fender and into traffic.

Yes, you are doing this exactly right.

You aren’t jacking up by the subframes ? I always found it easiest to use wood to jack up the entire front subframe, lower it onto stands, and then repeat with the rear.

You were able to get a jack that far under it?

This

I cannot get the jack underneath the front subframe without lifting it on 1 side....
Rear is doable but I was just checking for play so no need for that

Can you film it and post a video like Roadkill?

Hehe, it would just be me cussing for 40 minutes

I can’t get under my front puck without lifting the rear first.

I can’t get anything anywhere (pucks or subframes) without driving on wooden planks now...

Mine used to scrape the air dam on little rises in the road. Now that I have 275's up front, they were just tall enough to stop that.

My air dam very rarely scrapes now... But I also have stiffer springs so there is that.
Also, how tall is your sidewall? 275/?

275/40

I would first drive up onto secured 2x6's, and then I could fit my low profile jack under it.
I used long 2x6's and backed onto them to avoid the wood popping up and hitting the car.
I always saw some level of flex without jacking up the complete front or rear at once.

I used 2x6's that were long and secured so they couldn’t pop up and hit the underside. Then my low profile jack fit under the car with ease.
I always saw a little flex if I only did one corner at a time and it made me uneasy. Probably fine for short stints though.
Can't find the original article I used forever ago for my setup, but this person did something very similar to my method: https://www.z06vette.com/threads/diy-lift-your-c5-without-pucks.107706/

Found the original CF thread that lead to me lifting by the subframes: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c5-general/1255851-c5-hydraulic-jack-versus-jack-stand-positions-wood-ramps-and-wood-lifting-pads.html
I had jack pucks and I’m not saying I never lifted a single corner for something quick, but 99% of the time I lifted per the above. It becomes pretty quick when you get us we d to it. Just food for thought :)

That’s what I do when I have to use jack stands
