Those control 10's are old, but I bet they sound fantastic. I love the control series.

No. But regarding the bike tires, the fellow who is advising me is a very rounded cyclist who competes and trains and mentors lots of up-and-comings. I went with Panaracer Gravel King and a 32mm cross section, up from my current 28mm.

How fast do you wanna sell it?
If you don’t mind waiting for many months or possibly years, I’d list for $300 or so.
If you want to sell quick, list for
$120 and take $100.

And if that’s all they’re really worth, I’ll just hang onto them until I can give them to some cool kid.

I always look up the model in Ebay and check the history. See what you could get away with.

Unrelated to this post but an additional thought from the earlier GPU discussion.
Here’s what my RX 5700 XT reports in the client
The number usually hovers around 1.3 million PPD and real world numbers of course depends on work unit availability but stay close
The 1080 ti for sure is an awesome bang for the buck though and your 600 watt PSU should be plenty unless you’re running some crazy CPU like dual Xeons.

HiFi audio stuff is a very nebulous market. The same amp and speakers at a respected audio equipment retailer might fetch closer to $500 for the set, but the clientele who would pay that much for used HiFi equipment will probably not pay top dollar to a private seller out of quality concern.

For $150, I'll just hang onto it. I wish I had a place to use it. When I was 17, I'd have swooned.

The biggest problem with that old gear is that nothing plugs into it these days except for other old gear.

Or sounds as good... I just wish I had a use for it.

I checked it out but didn't get anywhere far.

I wound up taking $250 for it. The guy who bought it, a middle-aged Asian guy, wanted it for his converted garage. I’m jealous of him having a use for it. I hated to part with it but I could not foresee any way to use it and I’d just be storing it. The thing really sounded fantastic. And LOUD. Would have been great in a college dorm room...
