Ok, not really, but I am seriously annoyed that Discount Tire misplaced the center cap on my spare while they were removing a nail, and then tried to tell me it probably wasn’t on there in the first place.
Granted, it’s a free service, but the free service just cost me $25 with shipping to get a new cap. Grumble grumble #firstworldproblems.
(Honestly it’s not the $25 that bothers me, it’s the week I’ll be driving around with an ugly hole there. Vanity, thy name is Just Jeepin’.)

Looks like they lost two lug bolts , too. I’d be really pissed about that!

I suppose you could also blame the lack of two bolts and that unsightly scratch on them too.

I think it’s the spare wheel on the back.

(edited for wrong person being addressed!)
I knew something was up, as the tire wasn’t on the ground.....and he wouldn’t have jacked up the truck after they just did the work for him .
Mystery solved, other than, you know, where are the other two bolts? Center cap won’t solve that issue for Mr Vanity!

This is just an excuse to buy some awesome caps for the whole vehicle.
/s please don’t buy yellow logo’s Jeep caps.

please don’t buy yellow logo’s Jeep caps.
Of course not.
You’d have some Oppo ones printed.

Obviously the solution is to remove the center caps on ALL of your wheels!
You’ll reduce weight and improve performance!

I lost a center cap off my ranger when discount tire failed to put it on properly, and i saw they did the same with the other 3. Took pictures and went back and gave them hell. They fixed the situation by ordering me a replacement at their cost.

frustrating... one of those little human error things that you know is going to happen occasionally but still frustrating

Solution wheel, just don’t use caps.

I didn’t realize the spares came with a cap. I’ve never had one on mine. While Discount Tire generally has great service, they lot quite a few customers for life in Arizona a few years ago. I haven’t purchased from them since.
Best part was this was the election he finally lost.

Spare tire, on the back of the Jeep. They’re only ever held on with three nuts, which is kinda overkill.
