Dropped it off at a local shop to have the Eibach springs, struts, & shocks put in. I don’t feel like messing around with compressed springs loaded guns. Next time I see it will be lowered.

McPherson struts would make killing yourself pretty difficult since there is really not much compression on the spring once removed from the car. Once they are out, p ut some spring compressors on and back the top nut off and it’s done. No drama. Putting shorter springs on is easier as you don’t generally even need to compress them to get them onto the strut.
Can’t wait to see what it looks like lower!

The real question is how it's going to ride.

Should look pretty sweet! Looking forward to seeing it!

OE style replacement , so the strut is not changing much. The Eibach springs are designed to work best with OE struts. Progressive rear springs, & slightly higher spring rates. Stock it’s pretty soft, so going a little stiffer won’t be the end of my spine.

Sounds good. Can't wait.

I’ve never had any issue with a spring compressor. With this geometry, you really only have to compress 3-4 loops maybe an inch or so. But I totally get being hesitant to do it yourself.

Won’t be the best handling set up, but it’s a legal set up. I could have got Bilstein B6 struts if I wanted a better handling set up, but I feel like that would have been pretty stiff for daily driving.
