Mate, the top of the headlight should be on the outside rather than towards the middle.  The grill is in the right spot.

I understand the thinking behind this. But I do like the original more. The connecting lines across the body panels on the Z4 is a big part of its character.

The only line I touched was the hood-bumper gap. I always hated BMWs with it. The 3 Series F30 also looks terrible, like an afterthought.

BMW hoods should include the kidneys as it camouflages the hood line under them , a la Z3, E38, E39...

The worse case scenario is when it goes through the kidneys.

That’s the main reason I prefer the post face lift e90

The hood line on the F3 is just lazy, but on the Z4 it’s part of the overall design. That hood line flows Altho way down into the sideskirt. Also for some reason the photoshopped one looks longer on the front to me.

The pre-facelift E90 in general is ugly and lazy . There are KIAs with nicer looking tail lights. BMW tried to do a half-assed attempt at “celis” bars with filament bulbs and brightness is all over the place.
