Manual Cayenne GTS for me, Mazda CX5 Touring non-turbo for her. Incredibly uncomfortable, unbelievable amounts of road noise, slow, missing options that it should have(no proximity entry, but has proximity start) that makes it infuriating, a touch screen that only works when you are sitting(leaving a significantly more distracting knob)... Basically every negative to a sports car, with absolutely none of the fun.

A 911 RS2 and a Panamera Turbo Turismo. She hates Porsches, excessively low cars, excessively harsh ride, high sided bucket seats, and wagons. That stable would tick pretty much all her personal hot buttons while still providing an enjoyable two-car garage for me. I could also swap out the Panamera for a Cayenne, because she’s not a crossover fan either. But neither am I, so where would be the fun in that.

Turns out to be surprisingly difficult to find a brand that offers a good example of both no-compromises track beast and fast wagon. Lucky that brand happens to be the one she hates above all others. :-)

I’m ignoring the 100k limit beca u se I have no idea of US car pri c es and can’t be bothered searching. 100k NZD would buy me a GT86 and a Corolla wagon over here, which wouldn’t be any fun (and the 86 isn’t raw enough: I have one and she tolerate sit).
