Who comes up with this stuff? This concept could easily be applied to a speedometer graphic, but no, some genius sees the #savethemanuals merch and thinks they have a clever way to make a buck.

Don’t you know you’re supposed to run every gear to the limiter? Personally when I’m on the highway I like to turn 6000 in 3rd.

Yeah that is really dumb.

I wouldn’t wear it and I’m not a fan of the manual fawning (even though I despise driving anything without a clutch pedal, give me an unsychronized 3 on the tree over a DSG) but like....I get it.
I like to run up to redline getting on the highway, but winding out third will get my car impounded on the spot and a charge for stunt driving if I get caught, so I have to remind myself not to. And it’s not anywhere near a fast car...

The Honda Civic way

The really brave use as many gears as possible. 6th at 30 mph would also be pretty terrifying if a hill is coming up and you take downshifting as an affront to your dignity.

Pretty sure it’s suggesting that Subaru’s are unreliable.

Ugh, with reverse in that position you can change Reverse to "blown transmission"

Shifting into 7th. . .

NBD - I can tell you from personal experience, it’s really difficult to shift into reverse once you’re at speed in sixth.
And the loud “GRINKKKK!!!” reminds you not to do that. Again.

Bold move, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off for him
